Charles Longuet, born on 14 February 1839 in Caen (Calvados) and died on 5 August 1903 in Paris, was a socialist activist, member of the International Working Men's Association, and a prominent figure in the Paris Commune, who later became Karl Marx's son-in-law by marrying his eldest daughter Jenny Marx.
