Friedrich Christian Eduard Leßner[1] (pseudonym Carstens) (* 27 February 1825 in Blankenhain; † 1 February 1910 in London) was a German socialist politician. He was one of the earliest followers of Karl Marx and was active in the League of Communists and the International Workers' Association, among others.
