Description
This bibliography lists more than 5000 books, articles and other items about Trotsky and trotskyism, up to June, 1987. It includes trotskyist, anti-trotskyist, Western and Soviet publications. Not included are works on, or by, well or lesser known trotskyists (like Leon Sedov), and by trotskyist organizations. Books and articles on those organisations have been included.
Generally not included are manuscripts and other non-printed materials, and newspaper articles. Exceptions though are contributions to Pravda and dissertations, which have been included.
Only items in an European language have been admitted to the bibliography, with the exception of Greek and Turkish.
